What does the £300 deposit cover?
The deposit secures your project slot and kicks off the design phase - wireframes, brand direction, the first round of layouts. You only pay it after our discovery call and once we've agreed scope.
What's actually included in the £50/month retainer?
Hosting checks, SSL & security updates, small copy and design tweaks, image swaps, new pages within reason, and direct access to me for anything you need. It runs for two years from launch - no auto-renewal traps.
Do you only build sites for herbalists and acupuncturists?
No - that's the specialism, but the same care suits any small business. Coaches, accountants, therapists, tradespeople, consultants. If you value craft over scale, we'll get on.
How long does a project take?
Most sites go from discovery to launch in 3-5 weeks depending on content readiness and feedback turnaround.
Who hosts the finished site?
I can host it for you (included in the retainer) or set it up on your own hosting. Domains stay in your name either way.
What happens after the two years?
You can continue the retainer at the same rate, drop to ad-hoc support, or take the site fully into your own hands. Your call, no lock-in.
